Win a 42 inch LCD TV from LG

November 4th 2008 23:43
LG 42 inch LCD TV

Shazam! 20/20 Filmsight and LG have come together to offer Australian film fanatics the chance to start watching your movies on a widescreen 42" LCD TV, the 42LG70YD!

It's a whirlwind of a competition, a hurricane of activity, a swarming beehive of thrills and delight!

The 42LG70YD combines a great flatscreen form with a variety of input and output functions. Hook it up to your DVD player, an HDMI cable or laptop - it can even play MP3s from a USB stick, or display pictures like a massive, glowing picture frame.

This competition is open to all Australian residents - we'll even ship it to the Tasmanian Tiger-infested forests of Cataract Gorge!

To enter, please send an email to xyz AT orble DOT com with the following information:
This competition is now closed!

Subject: LCD TV

Name, Mailing Address

Answer these three trivia questions (all found on reviews from 20/20 Filmsight in the past month):

1) What is the full name of the actor who plays Kaspar Hauser?

2) What country is Laura Gemser from?

3) What kind of lighting was pioneered by the film "Pather Panchali"?

Send in your entries! The winner will be picked, not by me, but by an impartial outside consultant, locked away in a tiny mountain cave, surrounded by a moat filled with cantankerous catfish.

This contest closes on Nov. 12, 2008.

hi, I'd like to enter but want to know a few things. Do you need to be a member of Orble to enter? What are the terms and conditions? How will my personal details be used by the promoter?

Am I going to go onto a database that will be sold with my name, address and email address details?

I'd really like to enter but often these things are a way to collect and sell people's details. Is there a terms and conditions link so I can see. I am very conscious of thse things and like to read through the privacy policy.

thankyou.

anon, I'm not interested in selling anyone's names... you don't have to be an Orble member, just use the email address. The correct entries goes on a list, I'll get LG to pick a random number, then I'll send out the TV.

I don't have a policy because this is a very informal competition...
