Rain of Madness released on iTunes for free

"Tropic Thunder", the new comedy from Ben Stiller, is doing quite nicely at the box office, having pushed "The Dark Knight" off the throne and hoovering up all the shiny profits.
The movie parodies "Apocalypse Now" and to further pulls this comparison along, the filmmakers also released a faux-documentary called "Rain of Madness".
Here's the trailer for the documentary, in all it's fake-goodness, in YouTube's wonderful HD format:
/Film has posted that the entire documentary is now available as a free download from iTunes, which means, yes, you finally have something to watch on your expensive iPod/iPhone.
Here's the link to the iTunes page on "Rain of Madness"
Of course, this ludicrous documentary is a rip on the "Apocalypse Now" documentary, "Hearts of Darkness". I've never seen this documentary, but I imagine the style and music are very similar.
How far are we going to push all this meta-promotion? When Brawndo first came out, I scratched my scalp in perplexed confusion, but what else will come out of Stiller's forehead?
Well, yes... Paramount is promoting the drink from the movie, Booty Sweat, marketing it towards college students.
Are we on the bring of ludicrous irony? In "Tropic Thunder", Booty Sweat is lambasted as the type of bland, over-hyped energy drink that occupy the back pages of nearly every men's magazine. Are we actually doing this? Promoting satirical products whose existence is to poke fun at people that buy them?
Anyway, all this writing is making me thirsty, and I could really go for a Booty Sweat.

Hearts of Darkness is one of the greatest docos ever made.
I have to admit, although very perplexed by it, I was gullible enough to believe the Booty Sweat ad when it played before Tropic Thunder. I also believed in the Ben Stiller sci-fi action-hero trailer, but when Jack Black's one came on, I clued in.
Sheeesh.
