Saw IV trailer released
September 5th 2007 18:04
I Watch Stuff shares the same opinion as I do about the Saw series:
"If you're excited about the newest chapter in the Saw saga (Saw-ga?), man, I don't know what to tell you. Well, here's the latest brick to beat yourself in the face with: the Saw IV trailer."
Amen... it seems that with every geometrically-decaying sequel in this franchise, the trailers get less and less inspired. This one features a lot of shadows, some grainy footage, the mandatory shot of that freaky Saw doll and almost nothing tangible about the movie.
It doesn't matter what I say about this movie. My friends will probably all watch it anyway, using the excuse 'The first one was awesome' or 'It's the only thing on'. Both excellent reasons for spending $15 to watch a movie.

sequels are never as good as the original no matter how hard they try and make them...
This trailer wouldn't incite me to go see the film at all..
You're absoluetly right, shadowy, ill-made and silly...
Guess there isn't anymore originality left in the world...
Take care,
Nick

Nick, agreed, though there have been decent sequels. Godfather 2?

It's good to keep hearing different experiences of the films. I'm still not convinced I could do it though
