Guest Post on Neerav Bhatt's Rambling Thoughts Blog
February 18th 2008 03:12
I was invited to write a guest post on Rambling Thoughts Blog, one of the most highly trafficked blogs in Australia. It's moderated by Neerav Bhatt, who has done a remarkable job building up his blog and pulling in content from guests on a wide variety of topics.
He asked me to write an article on movies coming out in 2008 that we can all look forward to, which I did, largely ignoring the big guns: Indiana Jones, Wall-E, Ironman. Instead, I put up a list of movies that probably won't go big (except for "The Dark Knight"), but will be savagely enjoyed - by me.
I mean, I'd love to see Depp in "The Rum Diary" and I'm tremendously excited to see "Still Life". These are movies that might not appeal to most audiences, but, really, there's no reason they shouldn't.

Another feather in your growing chiefton's headdress.
Thoroughly enjoyed your post - and congrats - fame appears to be finding you - fortune . . . well that's another story I suspect.
Cheers

I enjoyed your review, too.
I am excited to learn that Depp has been chosen for another real life role. To me, Blow was one of the best biographical films made, and Depp one of the most versatile actors to carry it off, so well.
Batman and Indiana are also exciting for an actionphile.
But I am particularly interested by your words on the Three Gorges Dam Project and actually seeing this one and am grateful for the heads-up.
Isn't Wonder Woman due this year, or was that 2009?

there's interest in a Wonder Woman movie, but I don't know if it'll actually come out...

1 or 2 promo photos would be fine, perhaps some movie posters?
PS I thought Megan Gale was going to be Wonder Woman in an upcoming movie?

She's given up her modelling career with David Jones (kinda sad I won't see her posted up everywhere anymore... yeah I liked her) for the lead role as Wonder Woman.
I guess she has more roles in the pipeline, why would she quit? MORE makeup?
Cib - did they ask for an encore? let us know.

Megan Gale, I'll try and remember, but names are not my forte... thanks. Glad I wasn't dreaming
Thanks Cib, for the update on the Three Gorges too, so many good ones to look forward to, this year and of course, for Potter fans... wow another round and more of the mystery of his lineage revealed ... woo hoo for me, because I gave up reading the books, due to the maddening back-tracking.
There's that 10,000bc too... something different?
I heartily look forward to your review on 'Still Life.'
Cheers
