Saturday Morning Classics: Ghostbusters

No.
Not The Real Ghostbusters, based on the movie with Bill Murray and Dan Akroyd. That cartoon was very popular and was watched by everyone.
No, I'm talking about Filmation's Ghostbusters, which fought over the name with the other guys.
Instead of proton packs and great special effects, Filmation's Ghostbusters was based on a live-action children's TV show that must have been light on the budget, as they caught ghosts with bubble gum and lassos.
Also, they had a gorilla.
It was horrible. As a kid, I'd plan out my morning cartoon schedule in advance, anticipating to see Egon and the gang take on a devlish gang of spectres, only to realize that I had tuned into the wrong show.
Watch the trailer and see what YOU think:
Still, watching the opening credits makes me remember fond days. And though it wasn't as good, it still had ghosts and ghostbusting. What else do you need?

Has anything really changed from the Days of Shaggy and Scoobie, Thelma and the Mystery Machine?
Cheers

Stan, you're probably referring to The Real Ghostbusters. That was awesome. I still love it.
