Everyday Normal Guy Rap Song
November 27th 2007 01:50
This video is making the rounds and quickly gaining popularity on social news sites like Digg.
It's called 'Everyday Normal Guy Rap Song' and the name shows off everything you need to know. It's by John Lavoie, a white guy singing about how spectacularly unspectacular he is.
The idea is nothing special, and white-guy-rap-videos are old news, but this one is really well made and satirical enough to make me laugh.
It's funny because he points out everything that real gangsta rappers dictate: how much money they've got, how pimped out their ride is, how many women they sleep with. Lavoie is not a famous rapper, and his lifestyle shows it: he's got $600, he rides the bus, he hasn't slept with a woman since 2003. Word.
